Dug this recording out of an old pile on the computer. It’s me, Karl and Frank from about 2005 in Leitrim. We intended to record the whole U2 song properly but something went funny just after the start. It became an epic, delay laden instrumental with Asian influences and manic laughing!

It’s 13 mins long but bare with it, it’s funny near the end… We were sober, honest..

Here’s a video tutorial on how to add a contact or enquiry form to a wordpress page or post using the Contact Form 7 plugin.

* Update: The value pasted into the “Mail – From” field and the “Message Body” should be [name] and not [text* name] as outlined in the video.

Resizing Images for the Web or Email

Getting photos onto a web page is a common but tricky process. You can’t just take a photograph off a digital camera and upload it or email it to someone because chances are it will be too large and take for ever. Heres a tutorial on how to resize an image both physically and file size wise using the freely available Pixresizer software available from bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

3D 4D Ultrasound Scan

Been waiting ages to go get this done and it turned out to be worth the money and trip to Dublin from Leitrim! First proper look at the baby complete with smiles, waves & yawns in 2D, 3D and 4D!

Heres some of the better poses (the first one is probably our favorite with the baby’s arms under it’s head!):

I must also mention the great hospitality and professional service of the staff at the scan center Ultrasound Dimensions in Blackrock who couldn’t have been nicer. The freshly baked cookies topped it off nicely, sorry for eating so many!

Pregnancy Heartbeat Recording

I’ve been quiet on the pregnancy news front cause there ain’t been too much happening really! All still on course though. One thing that has happened is we’ve heard the heartbeat and heres a short clip recorded today courtesy of the local GP and my partner’s mobile phone!
